Our History
Vujevich Dermatology Associates has provided care to the South Hills of Pittsburgh and Western Pennsylvania for nearly 50 years. We serve Mt. Since Dr. Marion Vujevich founded the practice in 1972 we have grown to include 7 board-certified dermatologists and 4 physician extenders. Together, we have over 200 years of combined experience in all aspects of dermatology including medical, surgical, pediatric, and aesthetic dermatology and skin care. We are proud to offer the broadest board-certified expertise of all dermatology practices in Western Pennsylvania.
Patient Care
Patient care is our top priority at Vujevich Dermatology Associates. Our staff recognizes that our patients' comforts and needs are our primary focus. With our experienced providers and three office locations, we can provide timely access to our patients who require dermatology appointments in a short period of time. We often provide same or next day appointments for urgent dermatological needs and routine visits can be scheduled in several weeks, not 3-9 months in advance.
Education
Our providers at Vujevich Dermatology Associates actively continue their dermatology education and contribute to the specialty. Dr. Justin Vujevich is a past president of the Pennsylvania Academy of Dermatology and helped to pass legislation that protects Pennsylvania’s youth from the harmful effects of indoor tanning. He continues to fight for Pennsylvania patients to lower generic prescription costs, ensure truth in physician advertising, promote laser safety, and educate elementary students about the benefits of sun protection measures. Our other physicians serve on national dermatology committees, teach local medical residents, publish articles in their specialties, and speak at educational dermatology meetings.
Volunteerism
Western Pennsylvania is our home, and we believe in giving back to the community. Drs. Marion and Justin Vujevich co-founded The Angel's Fund, a foundation that provides assistance for out-of-pocket outpatient costs for pediatric patients and their families with limited financial means. Dr. Justin Vujevich directs a free dermatology clinic at the Birmingham Clinic, a University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine-sponsored free health care clinic serving underinsured populations of Pittsburgh. And in 2016, our practice founded Sun Smart Pittsburgh, a non-profit organization that provides free sunscreen stations at local parks and outdoor events and promotes sun safety and skin cancer awareness.
